PROJECT OVERVIEW

Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is a global independent consulting group specializing in human factors engineering of medical technology. Construction of UL’s Wiklund Research & Design space included two usability testing labs, each with an observation room. A medical lab features a functioning hospital bed as well as a sink area and cabinetry to simulate a hospital environment, while the other lab was built so that it could be modified to simulate various environments, such as a home. In addition to two labs and observation rooms, Corderman & Company built interior offices, open work space, a modern reception area and a café.

Unique Project Features:

A state-of-the-art medical simulation lab was built to include a functioning hospital bed, in addition to a sink and cabinets.
UL Wiklund clients can observe test sessions from an attached observation room that was fitted with a one-way mirror.

Harvard: CAS/AAS AALP

As part of Corderman & Company’s continued commitment to our partnership with Harvard University and the Harvard Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS), we successfully built out the office and conference spaces for the Center for African Studies (CAS) and Department of African and African American Studies/African Languages Program (AAAS/ALP).

Harvard Department of Anthropology

Partnering with Harvard University’s Faculty of Arts & Sciences Group, Corderman & Company built out faculty office space for the school’s Department of Anthropology located in the Peabody Museum.
