Ritz Carlton: Artisan Bistro

10 Avery Street, Boston, MA

The Ritz Carlton Boston Common

Design: AvroKO

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Recognized as “the best in pre- and post-theatre dining” by The Improper Bostonian and “one of the best restaurants in Boston” by Just Luxe, the Artisan Bistro is a European bistro-inspired restaurant with modern American cuisine. The build-out of the restaurant, located within the luxurious Ritz Carlton Boston Common hotel, entailed demolition followed by the construction of a new full-service bar and pantry, including all associated plumbing and electrical infrastructure and the installation of a new dumbwaiter. New millwork and floor finishes were added throughout the space, in addition to unique light fixtures that could be adjusted to suit multiple desired atmospheres.

A restaurant interior with booths along the edge of the space and a table in the center. Above the booths on the left there is a chalkboard menu. Each table has multiple place settings with utensils and white coffee mugs on plates.

Unique Project Features:

  • All construction took place without interrupting the operation of the Ritz Carlton Boston Common.

  • A new dumbwaiter was installed to transport prepared meals to hotel guests.

  • Construction of a full-service bar and pantry, including all associated plumbing and electrical infrastructure.
