PROJECT OVERVIEW

Located in the heart of Boston, 131 Dartmouth Street is comprised of premier office spaces, high-end retail, and fitness center. Newmark Knight Frank partnered with Corderman & Company to bring their vision of an updated high end lobby to life. The lower and upper lobby renovation included the removal of existing escalators and main stair, installation of new stone tile, light fixtures, exterior windows, back painted glass feature wall, elevator cab finishes, a new curved security desk, access control turnstiles, and a monumental curved stair with built-in wood benches.

Unique Project Features:

  • Corderman & Company removed two existing escalators and a main stair requiring structural steel infill and pouring of a new concrete slab at the lower lobby.  

  • The project featured the installation of a new curved monumental stair with veneer wood surrounds, built-in benches, and stainless steel and glass handrails.

  • Five elevator cabs in the upper lobby and two elevator cabs in the lower lobby were renovated to include new Galaxy Glass and wood panels along with new stone tile floors.
