Mentorship Opportunities
Corderman & Company’s influence in the academic community of Boston extends beyond construction. We would be remiss not to mention the unique mentorship opportunities that our team members have engaged in over the past year.
Corderman Superintendent, Rich Daly, completed an impactful 8-week mentorship through the Future Builders Program at Madison Park Vocational Technical School. Director of Finance, Caitlin O’Brien, participated in WIT’s Leadership in the Built Environment Program, offering guidance to the new cohort of students. C&Co. Founder, David Corderman, and Director of Field Operations, Dave MacNeil, had the opportunity to speak on a panel discussion through the Harvard Careers in Construction Program this past summer. We are also proud to continue our partnership with the Tynan Elementary School in South Boston. This initiative, spearheaded by our Accounting Specialist, Marissa Maurice, consists of volunteer events at the school as well as a back-to-school backpack drive, holiday gift drive, winter care package campaign, and more!
Corderman & Company has enjoyed being a part of the stories of schools and students in Boston and Cambridge, whether it be through construction, mentorship, or community stewardship. Learning starts early and never truly ends. We continue to learn from and be inspired by the students of the spaces we build, our project and industry partners, and each other. We are excited to continue learning as we navigate this complex industry and look forward to supporting the academic industry as we do so.
