Deanna Laptiste has joined the Corderman & Company team as an Accounting Intern for the summer!

Deanna is currently pursuing a degree in Economics and Finance at Centre College, where she is also a POSSE Scholar. The Posse Foundation is a national leadership development and college access organization that identifies high school students with exceptional academic and leadership potential. Through full-tuition scholarships, leadership training, and ongoing mentorship, Posse helps Scholars thrive in college and prepares them to become leaders in their communities and careers.

We are so excited to have Deanna on board and look forward to supporting her professional growth, learning from her unique perspective, and being part of her continued development as she builds her skills and experience.

Corderman & Company Accounting Specialist and Engineering News Record (ENR) Top Young Professional of 2024, Marissa Maurice, will be working directly with Deanna and will offer mentorship and guidance within the Finance Department during her internship. As a mid-size firm, Corderman’s departments often overlap and collaboration between teams is common, thus allowing interns to gain a deeper understanding of the business and benefit from a broader range of learning opportunities.
