On Giving Tuesday, the Usher Syndrome Society hosted its annual Sight, Sound & Strength fundraiser at Urban Wild in Boston. The fundraiser aims to raise awareness, inspire understanding, and fuel research for Usher syndrome - the leading genetic cause of combined deafness and blindness. With more than 250 attendees and volunteers raising over $200,000, the energy in the room was nothing short of inspiring.

This cause is deeply meaningful to Corderman & Company, and we’re especially grateful for our industry partners who continue to support the USH Society, including James W. Flett Co., JC Floors, MTech NE, Fahey Mechanical Contractors, J&M Brown Company, Watson Brothers Inc, Berkshire Bank, and many more. Your partnership helps bring visibility to this rare disease and directly supports the research shaping a better future for those living with USH.

The event was a perfect conclusion to a year of tireless efforts and initiatives, including an immersive digital exhibition at ARTECHOUSE in New York City, to a Times Square Takeover, to a Lobby-ing for USH campaign throughout Boston, to ongoing film and documentary efforts. We are so grateful to everyone who continues to support the incredible work of the Usher Syndrome Society.
