Corderman Completes Shalin Liu Performance Center Renovation

Corderman & Company recently completed a comprehensive renovation at the Shalin Liu Performance Center in Rockport, Massachusetts, delivering upgrades throughout the venue's four floors in collaboration with Hacin and Rockport Music. The work focused on enhancing the experience for both performers and guests while preserving the character of one of the North Shore's most iconic performance venues.

Renovations included improvements to the artist green room, reception hall and bar, lobby, patron amenities, hallways, and staircases. Updated finishes, lighting, paint, and carpeting created a refreshed atmosphere that welcomes visitors from the moment they arrive while providing performers with improved backstage accommodations.

Executing construction required detailed planning, close coordination, and an accelerated schedule to minimize the length of the establishment’s mid-winter hiatus. Through collaborative project management, experienced field leadership, and the support of Corderman's in-house Labor, Carpentry, and Trucking divisions, the team successfully delivered the project safely and efficiently.

Since opening in 2010, the Shalin Liu Performance Center has become known for its exceptional acoustics, breathtaking oceanfront setting, and world-class performances.
