LEED Gold Achieved: JPMC Malden
LEED Gold achieved! Corderman & Company’s JPMC Malden project has officially been awarded LEED Gold status. The project exceeded program goals by a significant margin, with 53% increased ventilation, 75% waste diversion, and 36% water reduction.
Sustainable practices included preserving and repurposing the existing concrete slab, roof, and rooftop HVAC units, thereby reducing waste and embodied carbon. Furthermore, improved air quality and resource conservation promote the well-being of the employees and clientele utilizing the new banking location.
Corderman & Company has built over two dozen branches in the Greater Boston Area for global investment banking company, JPMorgan Chase. A more recent buildout in Hudson also achieved LEED Silver Certification, further exemplifying the continued commitment of both JPMC and the firm’s project partners to collaboratively build a more sustainable space and minimize environmental impact.
