Building for the Future of Healthcare, Tech, & Science

Boston has historically been, and continues to be a pioneering force and global leader in the healthcare and life sciences industry. It is rewarding to create and enhance the workspaces for these organizations as they seek to develop groundbreaking techniques and treatments, and make novel discoveries in their respective fields.

By providing construction management services for the interior renovations and fit-outs for these firms, the Corderman & Company team has the opportunity to work closely with clients to guarantee their spaces support the latest technology and equipment, promote productivity, and amplify creative thinking.

At the forefront of each Corderman project is our unwavering commitment to safety. This concept is two-fold; the build-out incorporates necessary features to ensure the safety of those who will be using the facilities and offices. At the same time, the project team upholds our company’s own standards during the construction process. Adherence to our established safety plan is paramount, both mitigating safety concerns and eliminating threats altogether.

When engaging in labs and healthcare-oriented spaces, our team understands the complex yet distinct requirements and parameters that support the workspace. The project team implements necessary acoustical features to reduce sound and vibration, establishes proper sensors and security systems, integrates showers and eyewash stations, and utilizes non-volatile materials and chemical resistant flooring and work surfaces. Thought is also given to waste management and biohazard removal as well as adequate allocation of storage space. These facets are vital in creating a space that ensures efficient and safe operations.

As science continues to evolve and progress, so do the design features and construction practices involved in creating a space. With more consideration given to the wellness and comfort of employees, tenant fit-outs set out more intentionally to combine functionality and professionalism with an aesthetically appealing workspace.

Corderman & Company aims to construct spaces conducive to curiosity, exploration, and discovery. We look forward to supporting the future growth and success of these integral companies one fume hood, work bench, IT room, and conference table at a time.
