Women in Construction Week 2026

Corderman & Company continued our annual tradition of reading to students at the Tynan Elementary School in South Boston as part of the firm’s Women in Construction Week celebration.

A small group read Rosie Revere, Engineer by Andrea Beaty to several classes and gave insight into their unique roles in the construction industry. From project management and field work to marketing and finance, the team spans a range of departments at Corderman. The kids had great questions and insights of their own to share, sparking great conversations centered on construction and engineering, creativity and inventions, and never giving up on your dreams.

The kids even surprised us with a hand-painted and signed thank you, a wonderful illustration of the close partnership we have with the school and students.
