Tynan Volunteering: STEM Week

Four Corderman & Company employees and a Tynan Elementary School staff member are standing smiling for the camera. They are standing by a colorful alphabet rug and there are bookshelves and tables behind them.

A group from the Corderman team spent a day building rollercoasters and catapults with students from the Tynan Elementary School this past week.

In support of the school’s STEM Week, the crew promoted critical thinking skills while fostering creativity through these fun activities, all the while continuing to strengthen our ongoing partnership and establish new traditions with the local school.

Thank you to Marissa Maurice for helping to coordinate this opportunity and shoutout to Dave MacNeil for cutting up a lot of pipe foam insulation to make our rollercoasters possible!
