Roof Deck Expertise

When working in buildings where the windows simply don’t open…A roof deck. Is. Everything.

With completed roof deck projects at One Financial Center, 100 High Street, 222 Berkeley Street, 699 Boylston Street, One Post Office Square, and one more underway at 131 Dartmouth Street, our team has become well versed at installing these beautiful, outdoor oases.

Occasionally persevering through less than desirable weather conditions in order to construct these stunning spots, the Corderman team has exemplified our dedication and expertise in crafting thoughtful, innovative spaces for clients. In particular, our in-house Corderman Carpentry division has been essential in offering their skilled handiwork for many of these roof decks, building with the utmost attention to detail.

When engaged to build these roof decks, Corderman must take into consideration the permitting process, collaborate with the engineers and architects to ensure structural integrity, follow strict protocols for emergency egress doors and guidelines for railing heights and safety features, and integrate waterproofing needs.
