Logistics Manager

Corderman & Company, a leading Boston-based construction management firm and multi-year Top Places to Work award winner, is seeking an experienced and highly organized Logistics Manager to manage operations at our South Boston warehouse supporting our trucking division and project sites.

This is a fully in-person role responsible for equipment tracking, logistics coordination, job readiness, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and professional facility. We are looking for someone who can provide structure and accountability to help us strengthen how we manage tools, vehicles, and materials across the company. As the Logistics Manager, you will work closely with Corderman & Company’s Superintendents, Project Managers, and Senior Leadership. You will serve as the central point of responsibility for how equipment flows in and out of the warehouse and to Corderman & Company’s job sites.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead daily warehouse and logistics operations, coordinating with the project teams and Corderman Trucking to fulfill job

    site deliveries, pickups, and trash-out requests

  • Establish and maintain clear, accurate inventory tracking for tools, equipment, and bulk materials

  • Manage maintenance of tools and equipment, including cleaning, testing, and restoring items to ready condition

  • Ensure no equipment leaves the warehouse without being logged and tied to a job

  • Maintain service schedules and documentation for company vehicles

  • Set daily priorities and manage the schedule for trucking staff

  • Maintain organization of shelves, storage areas, and exterior warehouse space

  • Keep truck bays available for parking, maintenance, and loading

  • Maintain parking lot accessibility during snow or adverse weather

  • Oversee cleanliness and safety of the warehouse, kitchen, bathroom, and resting quarters

  • Maintain records including dump slips, equipment repairs, and vendor activity

  • Recommend improvements to systems, processes, layout, and controls that increase efficiency and reduce loss

  • Manage purchasing of items, including bulk purchasing negotiations, and track distribution of items to jobs

  • Maintain compliant stock of fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and other required supplies

  • Provide regular expense and inventory reporting to senior leadership

  • Uphold confidentiality and integrity in all communications and documentation

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, equipment, or inventory operations

  • Demonstrated success establishing or improving operational systems and controls

  • Experience coordinating deliveries and supporting construction or field operations strongly preferred

  • Familiarity with common construction tools, materials, and job site workflows

  • Ability to lift and move equipment and materials; operating machinery may be required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort learning inventory or tracking software

  • Ability to coordinate frequently by phone across multiple teams

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

The salary range for this position is $75,000-$90,000. The stated salary range represents the company’s good-faith estimate of compensation for this role at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.
