Corderman & Company, a leading Boston-based construction management firm and multi-year Top Places to Work award winner, is seeking a self-motivated Assistant Project Manager with an interest in all phases of construction management.

As part of Corderman’s project management team, you will support the planning and execution of high-end interior construction projects across the Greater Boston area. This position offers hands-on experience in both office and field environments, providing exposure to all aspects of project delivery from pre-construction through closeout. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, attention to detail, and strong core values that align with the Corderman & Company mission.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Assist Project Managers with project setup, execution, and closeout activities

  • Manage document control including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, drawings, and financial tracking

  • Collaborate with the Superintendent to coordinate daily field operations and maintain communication between the office and the job site

  • Facilitate material procurement, delivery tracking, and logistics planning

  • Support bid solicitation, scope review, and trade partner buyouts

  • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation in Procore and other management systems

  • Participate in client meetings, walkthroughs, and punch list reviews

  • Contribute to project schedule tracking, cost control, and reporting

  • Champion Corderman’s mission to deliver the highest quality pre-construction and construction management services

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and collaborative demeanor

  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Solid understanding of construction project management, documentation, and sequencing

  • Experience in high-end commercial interiors or fast-paced, complex construction environments

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Procore and Microsoft Project preferred

  • Excellent organization and time management skills with strong problem-solving ability

  • Ability to adapt in a fast-moving environment and maintain a positive, team-oriented approach

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-5 years of experience managing commercial interior projects in Greater Boston

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
