Corderman & Company is seeking a self-motivated Accounting Assistant to be an integral member of the firm’s Finance team. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for all aspects of accounts payable, including processing of vendor invoices, reviewing all related paperwork, internal approvals, invoice payments, reconciling payments/balances and ensuring adherence to company policies. The Accounting Assistant will perform other accounting/office functions as needed.

DESIRED SKILLS + EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3+ years related finance experience.
Bachelor’s degree with a preferred major/focus in accounting or finance. A combination of post-secondary education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
General knowledge of project financials, accounting principles and accounts payable procedures.
Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial files.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Administrative experience with the ability to maintain clear, concise notes and records, organized files, and time management.
Must have sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. word, excel, etc.).
Procore/Spectrum Software knowledge is a plus but not required.
